Soloist and collaborative artist — Lorraine is a classically trained musician whose artistry spans many genres and musical styles. Her work includes conducting and producing select movements of The Little Match Girl Passion by David Lang for Opera Notre Dame in collaboration with the Notre Dame Music Department and Four/Ten Media (WINNER: Opera America Awards for Digital Excellence, November 2022). At 25 years old, Lorraine became Music Director at the Basilica of the Immaculate Conception in Waterbury, CT, where she established the church’s first children’s choir, welcoming nearly 30 young musicians of the parish in one year, as well as created the first choral music education program at the Catholic Academy of Waterbury for all 200 students. From 2020-2022, Lorraine was Chorus Master for The Passion Project, an original composition and semi-staged performance by Grammy Award winner J.J. Wright with the Notre Dame Folk Choir (recording release in February 2023). She traveled with the 50+ person choir on the premiere tour in the United States and later on the tour to Jerusalem, Israel where the album was recorded. As an organist, Lorraine specializes in Baroque and early music and has given recitals in Boston, Philadelphia, Worcester, and Hartford.
Based in Northeast United States, Lorraine has held prestigious positions beginning in her formative years as Organ Scholar at the Cathedral of St. Joseph in Hartford, CT and then Organ Scholar at the College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, MA (4-year, full tuition scholarship). She received her master's degree in sacred music and choral conducting from the University of Notre Dame, IN. Her teachers include James David Christie, Ezequiel Menendez, Mark Doerries, Nancy Menk, and Carmen-Helena Téllez.
